Step-by-Step Guide to Power Cycle the Qolsys IQ Panel

Step 1: Disarm the System

1. Disarm the System: If your system is armed, disarm it to avoid triggering any alarms during the power cycle process.

Step 2: Power Down the Panel

2. Access the Settings:

   • Tap the "Settings" icon on the home screen of your IQ Panel.
   • Enter your installer code (default is usually 1111 or 1234) or master code.

3. Power Down:

   • Navigate to "Advanced Settings".
   • Tap on "Power Down".
   • Confirm that you want to power down the panel by tapping "OK".

Step 3: Disconnect the Power Source

4. Unplug the AC Power:

   • Locate the power adapter connected to the panel and unplug it from the electrical outlet.

5. Remove the Battery:

   • Open the panel by gently prying it open from the top or sides (follow the instructions specific to your model for safely opening the panel).
   • Disconnect the backup battery by pulling out the battery connector.
